I initially trained in Reiki simply to help those closest to me, but throughout my training I discovered a genuine passion and respect for the healing process. What started as a way to care for my loved ones quickly became an important part of my life. Reiki has helped me develop a deeper understanding of wellbeing, balance, and the connection between mind, body, and energy. Today, I am proud to bring that knowledge and compassion into my work at The Wellness Guy, where I support clients on their own wellbeing journeys. My early training as a Beauty Therapist was an intensive 5 year course covering the full range of beauty treatments. I gained my NVQ Level 3 in beauty from Hitchin Beauty College in 1994. After qualifying I became Assistant Manager at Beadlow Manor Health Spa, Bedford and spent 3 years gaining invaluable experience. I then set up my business named Skin Deep covering all aspects of the Beauty business. Working for the next 10 years as a Beauty Therapist. However, my main interest had always been eyebrows and seeing how specialised brow treatments had become I decided in 2007 to train with Karen Betts on her Semi-permanent make up/microblading course. I then became an HD trainer for Karen Betts helping it grow into what it is today. As I felt the courses in the UK were not up to the standard I wanted to achieve I decided to attend specialist semi-permanent make up/microblading courses in the USA, Russia, Italy, and Poland. I am now one of the 2 principal teachers at the award winning microblading training course by Dermagraph UK, at Windsor College. As my reputation for high quality work has spread I have been fortunate to treat a number of celebrities including: Katie Price, Callum Best, and some of the members of The Boys from Blue, cast of Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Loose Women.

Hello, I'm Aleksandra, the founder of Body Harmony Massage Therapy. I am a fully qualified Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist, having graduated from the prestigious Jing Institute in Brighton with a BTEC Level 6 Professional Diploma — the highest level of massage qualification available in the UK. My passion lies in helping people move out of pain, regain their mobility and improve their quality of life through advanced clinical massage therapy. I specialise in treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, using the Jing Method™, which combines a range of advanced, evidence-informed techniques. My training includes myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching, acupressure and other therapeutic approaches, allowing me to create treatments tailored to each individual's needs. But my work goes far beyond treating physical pain. I strongly believe in the connection between the mind and body, and that emotional distress, stress and grief can have a profound impact on our physical wellbeing. As part of my Level 6 qualification, I conducted a research study and wrote my dissertation exploring the effects of the Jing Method™ on stress, anxiety and depression in parents who have experienced the loss of a child. This research is particularly close to my heart and has deepened my understanding of how therapeutic touch can support people through some of life's most difficult experiences. Whether you are struggling with persistent physical pain, emotional stress, anxiety, grief or simply going through a challenging period in your life, my aim is to provide a safe, compassionate and welcoming space where you feel listened to, understood and supported. My approach is always individual, holistic and client-centred. I believe that every person deserves treatment that considers not only their physical symptoms but also their emotional wellbeing. My established clinic is based in Haverhill, where I have built a busy practice.
